Student Grants

It was my first Teen Lit conference here in Colorado, and I was impressed with the quality of presentations. I had trouble deciding exactly which sessions to go to because I wanted to go to so many. The enthusiasm of the teens reinvigorated me. Great job!

The CLAS: Kathy Bellin Memorial Grant and the REFORMA Grant include conference registration and lunch at the 24th Annual Colorado Teen Literature Conference scheduled for SATURDAY, MARCH 31, 2012, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the TIVOLI CONFERENCE CENTER, AURARIA CAMPUS, DENVER, COLORADO.

ELIGIBILITY: Students in grades 6-12 (including teens who are homeschooled) are eligible to apply. Teens may self-nominate or be nominated by a teacher or librarian. Latina/o students are encouraged to apply for the REFORMA grants.

 

What are CLAS and REFORMA?

*Applications are due Friday, March 2, 2012. Be sure to include all the requested information as this form will be the conference registration for the grant recipients. Grant recipients will be notified before the general conference registration deadline. Conference participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the conference.*
